How to Block a Connection
If you feel like you are getting some friend requests you wish to no longer receive, you do have the option to block users. Follow the steps below on how to block users either from your app or your desktop account.
From the App
Upon receiving a connection request, you may choose to block a user straight from your inbox by selecting 'block.'
You can also choose to block a user from within your connections list by going to your Menu and selecting the Connections tab.
Search for your connection then tap on the 3 dots next to their name.
Tap on Block.
From a Desktop
Step 1: Log into your Myzone account from a desktop at www.myzonemoves.com
Step 2: Click on Connections from your home page.
Step 3: Search for the user by clicking on the magnifying glass.
Step 4: Once you find the user, click on the red circle to block.
Step 5: Confirm you wish to block this user.
Remove a Connection
In the Myzone app, tap the Menu to find your Connections tab. Search for the connection and once found, tap on the 3 dots next to their name. This will then open additional actions.
Tap on Disconnect to remove them from your list.
Connections will not be notified that you disconnected with them.
How to Manage Sharing Permissions
If you wish to edit permissions with certain connections, this can be completed in a couple of places. When you edit permissions with each connection in the app, you have the ability to manage the following:
- What YOU can see (their moves and photos)
- What THEY can see of you (your moves, photos, connections).
To manage this information, open the Myzone app, go to your Menu and select Connections. If you wish to change permission levels for a certain connection, find that connection and tap on the 3 dots next to their profile. Then tap on Permissions.
Note: your permissions will need to be managed for each connection.
Toggle which permissions you wish with that specific connection.
Managing Your Data with a Facility
You can also manage your permissions and choose how you share data with the facility you belong to. This management will need to be completed from your online Myzone account, as it can not be managed from your Myzone app.
Step 1: Log into your account page from a web browser. Go to www.myzonemoves.com
Step 2: In the upper left corner of your account, click on the person icon to bring you to your personal settings.
Step 3: Once here, scroll down to “Permissions” and uncheck to your desire.
TIP– You’ll want to keep “share data with facility” so that your facility can view/edit your information if you need help down the road.
Step 4: Any changes you make, be sure to click the green checkmark to save.
