My phone says I’m up to date on updates but says 12.4.2. And I don’t have the option for Bluetooth Sharing.

Hi Permelb- if your phone says OS 12.4.2 it is not updated to the 13.0 OS system. You won't have the option for Bluetooth sharing until you update your phone to at least 13.0. Try rebooting your phone, then going back into your Apple settings, click on software update, and see if there is an update in there. I do know that any Apple phones that are below 6S do not have the option to update to OS 13.0, not sure if you have an Apple iPhone that is lower than 6S. If so, the information in this article will be irrelevant for your user experience and you will be able to enjoy using the Myzone app as previously used. Hope this helps!

I have an iPhone 6, so I’m guessing I can update to that. I just did what you suggested and it still says I’m up to date. So, that being said...it doesn’t help me with my problem. My belt keeps shutting off or reading 0% heart rate when I am at the gym.

Hi Peremlb - If you have the iPhone 6 you are not eligible for the 13.0 update. 6S phones are the lowest phone models that can support the OS update. Sorry to hear you're having trouble with connecting your belt to your phone. While wearing your belt, try going straight into your Bluetooth settings and just turnBluetooth "on", no need to pair with it. If you're not registering at the gym, try the below troubleshooting steps first:

    - make sure the red strap is tight and snug around your body

    - wet the black sensors with sone water - this initiates the HR connection a bit quicker

    - try roating the red strap so that the black module is positioned a bit to the left or on your back - sometimes not everyone's sweet spot is right in the middle

    - although unlikely, try throwing your black module on the charger for a bit (if you have the MZ3)

    - try the module on a different red strap to confirm which component is giving you trouble - strap or module. Your gym should have extra red straps on hand or ask a friend to put your module on their confirmed red strap to see if they register with the module on the screen.

If none of the above steps work, please contact our support team, share the steps you've tried for troubleshooting, and they will direct you to next steps. You can contact them via live chat or submit a ticket on here at: https://myzonesupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

    Hope this helps!
