Whether you have an MZ-Switch, MZ-3 or MZ-1, track your workout live on the Apple Watch to make monitoring outdoor activities easier. Follow these instructions to pair your belt to your Apple Watch and sync those efforts to your account.
How to Pair Your Myone Belt to Apple Watch
Step 1: Download the Myzone app on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Confirm Myzone is downloaded on your Apple Watch app by launching the Watch app and scrolling down to ‘Installed on Apple Watch.
Step 2: Put your belt on.
Step 3: Launch the Myzone app on your iPhone and navigate to the Workout Tile from the Home menu. You should see your live heart rate.
Step 4: Open the Myzone app on your Apple Watch.
Step 5: Select ‘Synchronize’ on your Apple Watch. When paired successfully, your Apple Watch will show a successful pair and confirm your belt ID number. Press "cancel", then "begin workout."
Once you see your live tile on the watch, close the Myzone app on your iPhone once your live tile displays on your watch. Closing out before you are paired with the watch will lose connection to the tile and prompt you to "begin workout" again.
Once you have paired your belt to your Apple Watch, the above steps do not typically need to be repeated unless the Apple Watch updated its firmware or phone updated its OS. To re-pair your devices, put your Myzone belt on and select 'synchronize' on your Apple Watch.
How To Upload Workouts from Apple Watch
Step 1: To begin a workout, select ‘Begin Workout’ on your Apple Watch while wearing your Myzone belt.
Step 2: Apple Watch will then show it is connecting to your belt. Once connected, the Apple Watch will display your live tile.
Step 3: After you have completed your workout, swipe to the right and select ‘Upload.’
Note: You must continue wearing the Myzone belt to perform a successful upload.
Step 4: Your watch will display uploaded heart rate samples. Once completed, your Apple Watch will show ‘Upload Successful’ and will be available to view in the app shortly.
