How do I wear my MZ-3?
First, snap the module into the red strap. Next, fit the device around your lower chest so the module is in the center, or slightly left of center with the module right-side-up. Your MZ-3 must have direct skin contact to pick up your heart beat. It should fit comfortably snug around your chest.

Can I use my MZ-3 outside of a Myzone support facility?
Yes, you can either stream your workout to the Myzone app while you work out, or leave your phone behind and store it to upload later. Your device has approximately 14-16 hours worth of storage. If you are streaming, your data uploads to your account as you go. To upload stored data to your app, tap My Tile. You will see a message that data is being sent from your device. Once it is complete, your graph will display at the bottom of your tile. To upload at your gym, stand in front of a Myzone display until you see your nickname scrolling at the top of the screen.
How do I know my belt has activated?
The belt will beep 1 time when when activated and 3 times when you take it off.
How does my heart rate display on the screen in a Myzone support facility?
When you create your Myzone account at www.myzonemoves.com, your gym's Myzone system will automatically link your belt to your online account. The system includes a receiver--that is what reads your belt data--and a PC that runs the software. The receiver is connected to the PC, and the PC pulls in your data from your account via the internet connection.
Your tile displays your nickname, calories burnt, current heart rate in beats per minute, Myzone Effort Points and status ranking, and in the center, a% of your maximum effort.
How do I know if my module has a low battery?
You will receive a pop-up notification in the Myzone app when your module is <20% of battery life. To charge, plug the USB charging cable provided with you MZ-3 into a laptop or use a 5V adapter and plug it into a wall outlet. Please note than anything higher than 5V may damage your module.
How does my workout upload to my Myzone account?
Your workout wirelessly uploads to your Myzone account via internet connection to both the Myzone App or your gym's Myzone system. If you are streaming, this happens as you workout.
To upload stored data, you must also wear your belt. If you are uploading via the app, confirm your belt is on (1 beep = on) and tap My Tile on the navigation bar. You will receive a message indicating that data is being received and see your graph at the bottom of your tile once it is complete.
If you are uploading stored data to a Myzone facility console, stand in front of the Myzone tv with your belt on until you see your name scroll at the top of the software with a time stamp. This indicates a successful upload.
When will I receive my email summary?
Within 30 minutes of your upload, you will receive an email with a summary of your latest session. You can also see your workout immediately on your Myzone App home feed after refreshing.

Can I still wear my MZ-3 if I have a hairy chest?

I have a heart condition--should I take any special precautions when wearing my MZ-3?
We always encourage discussing a new fitness regimen with your primary care doctor before you begin. Myzone is not meant to be a tool that will detect heart conditions or irregularities, so it is important to take precautions, monitor your exercise and stop immediately if you do not feel good.
Is the MZ-3 waterproof?
Although the Myzone MZ-3 is waterproof, we do not recommend using while swimming. Drag from the water pulls the strap away from the chest causing gaps, or complete data loss. It is waterproof up to 10 meters if you would like to get it wet in adventure races or water aerobics though.
