MZ-Instruct is a feature that brings a new dynamic to a class, promoting engagement with the Myzone screen and allowing the instructor to focus on form and class motivation while following a preset class designed by the club or trainer themselves. MZ-Instruct is part of the existing Myzone license fee, to receive MZ-Instruct, contact your Business Development Representative or Myzone Technical Support at firstname.lastname@example.org who will activate this for you. Please provide them with your facility code and the name of the facility.
Classes can be pre-set and facilities can use the Myzone pre-loaded functional videos or can shoot their own videos. Bringing the trainer to life on screen, as well as having them present within the class providing focus and improved class engagement and interaction. Customers follow simple onscreen videos while being coached and motivated within a class setting.
How to Create MZ-Instruct Classes
After MZ-Instruct has been enabled for your facility from the Myzone team, you may begin creating from your facility page at www.myzonemoves.com. Navigate to Classes from your admin portal menu. Select Class Creator and New Class to begin building your class.
First, name your class. If your class is not named, the option to save the class will not appear at the bottom of the page.
Select the Functional and Multi-Station box at the top of the class to get the MZ-Instruct option.
Note: The clapboard icon indicates that you have MZ-Instruct enabled for your facility. If you DO NOT see the clapboard, MZ-Instruct is not enabled for your facility.
Choose your video from the library or search for a specific exercise by typing in a keyword in the search box located in the upper left-hand corner.
After you have selected the video, from the library, you will see a second clapboard which indicates an MZ-Instruct video is attached.
To continue adding segments to your class, click the green plus sign on the right-hand corner. Select the green checkmark all the way at the bottom of the page to save the class completely.
Finally, play the class in the Myzone software at the facility. At the conclusion of the class, each live tile will display a class summary for a period of time before returning to the default tile on the screen.
